To map your chart of accounts:

Click Settings

Click Chart of Accounts

Select the corresponding Accounting Code for each expense category from the drop-down list

Turn-off any irrelevant default categories

Select Save
If you have a more comprehensive chart of accounts you can create your own custom categories. To create custom categories:

Click the toggle to turn on Custom Categories

Enter a unique Category Name. We recommend keeping category names simple so that staff members can understand them and make the right choice.

Select the corresponding Accounting Code for each expense category from the drop-down list

Click Save
If you would like to display a sub-set of your accounting codes to specific groups of people:

Click the ... button

Click Display in Selected Budgets

Select the specific budgets where you would like this category to be available

Click Save on the pop-up modal

Click Save at the bottom of the page to complete your mapping
Please note, before starting you will need to have either integrated DiviPay with your accounting software or uploaded your Chart of Accounts via a CSV upload.
